BOOKING POLICY

  • Bookings are essential.

  • A minimum 50% deposit of the total accommodation cost is required to confirm a booking. With Peak bookings full payment is required 28 days prior to arrival. Off peak bookings 50% deposit of the total accommodation is required to confirm a booking. Full payment is required 21 days prior to arrival.

  • All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars, are inclusive of GST and subject to change without notice due to seasonal and other variations.

  • Deposits can be accepted by direct deposit, money order, cheque or phone/email credit card if the details are provided by the card holder.

  • Please note credit card transaction fees apply.

  • A valid credit card is required at the time of check-in.

  • By confirming your booking, you are granting us authorization for any balances, incidentals or damages to be charged to the credit card held on file: and acceptance of our Terms and Conditions and Park Information.

  • In Accommodation a $200 Bond will be held for your Booking for damages or any breach of these T&C's.

  • Please ensure that you have read the Terms and Conditions of your booking prior to arrival. 

  • Different minimum stay requirements apply throughout the year.

  • Any change to booking dates will be subject to tariffs dependent on the revised booking period.

  • No Shows will have their booking cancelled 24 hours after their arrival date with no refund unless prior arrangement has been made with the office.

  • If requested we will endeavor to hold a particular site/cabin/chalet, however we reserve the right to move your booking to an equivalent cabin/site/chalet category for the same period.

  • Charges will apply for excessive cleaning, damage and/or replacement of missing items.

  • Park Management reserves the right to reallocate or cancel any bookings.

  • Park Management reserves the right to refuse entry into Fonty's Pool. Anti-social behaviour and intoxication or creating a disturbance to other customers and or representatives will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of the Booking and expulsion from the Accommodation or site.

  • Persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

 

CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY 

 

  • We highly recommend you take out Travel Insurance for your stay at Fontys Pool.

  • All cancellations must be advised in writing (e.g. email) before any refund can be considered.

  • No refunds will apply, for booking changes reducing length of stay occurring with less than 21 days Off Peak or 28 days Peak.

  • No date changes permitted with less than 21 days' notice.

  • Bookings cancelled or altered after 5pm the day before arrival, at the commencement of or during occupation do not qualify for any refund. No Show bookings will be cancelled with no refund.

  • Deposits are non-refundable with less than 21 days notice of cancellation for off peak bookings.

  • For Peak season bookings the total accommodation fee is non-refundable within 28 days notice of cancellation.

  • All cancellations will attract a $50 Administration fee per site.

PET POLICY

 

  • Pet owners must seek management approval to bring pets to Fontys Pool prior to their stay. Pet Policy must be adhered to.

  • Please note we do not take Pets during peak periods. This includes Christmas and New Year through parts of January, Australia Day LWE, March Labour Day LWE, Easter LWE, Anzac LWE, June LWE, Sept LWE and Truffle Kerfuffle.

  • Please note from Sept 2024 we do not take Pets on any long weekends, Christmas and New Year through parts of January, Aust Day LWE, March Labour Day LWE, Anzac LWE, Easter LWE, June LWE, Sept LWE, Truffle Kerfuffle.

  • Pets must be leashed and supervised by an adult at all times with no exceptions!

  • Dog faeces must be disposed of immediately, no excuses considered.

  • Pets are not permitted inside the pool fenced area.

  • Pets are not permitted inside any buildings or within 10m of the Camper’s Kitchen unless pre- arranged with management.

  • Pets are not permitted in The Lodge or any of the Chalets. They are permitted in Standard Park Cabins for an extra fee. Pets not permitted on beds in the Cabins.

  • Aggressive dogs or dogs that continually bark are not allowed. Management reserves the right to determine if your dog is one of these and may ask you to remove them at any time if we feel it is justified.

  • Fonty’s Pool & Caravan Park will assume no responsibility for any injuries to humans or animals resulting from the actions of pets.

  • Non compliance with these rules will result in the owners being asked to leave the premises forfeiting their remaining accommodation fees.

 

“Fonty’s Pool” is a pet friendly park most of the year; please help us keep it that way.

 

Please note we do not take dogs on ANY LONG WEEKENDS, from Christmas and New Year, parts of January, Australia Day, March LWE, Easter LWE, Anzac LWE, June LWE, Sept LWE and Truffle Kerfuffle.

FIRE POLICY

 

  • A limited number of Fire Pots are available free of charge.  

  • You can not book a fire pit, they are distributed on a first come first served basis.

  • Access is via a key from the front office which must be returned before departure. 

  • Your key is for your pot only. If you use your key to access pots for anyone else, you will lose your pot. 

  • If you depart before the office is open, please place key in the key return box by front door of office FIRE RULES 

  • Fires are only permitted in fire pots provided or approved by Fonty’s Pool.

  • Limit of one fire pot per group.

  • Fires are only permitted during burning season.

  • Fires are to be kept small to avoid sparks and if conditions become windy, fires are not permitted at all.

  • You are responsible for supervising your fire at all times and making sure it is not left unattended. Be aware that children may visit your fire when unattended.

  • Firewood is available for purchase from the front office for $25 a bag.

  • ABSOLUTEY NO bushwood to be burned.

  • Only firewood supplied by Fonty’s Pool, or similar (eg bags from service station or Bunnings), is to be used in the park to regulate quality and size of wood.

  • Fires are not to be lit in pots on the morning of departure so that they are cool enough for you to return to the fire pot storage area.

  • You are responsible for returning your fire pot to the fire pot storage area and removing ash in designated drum prior to your departure. Pots must be stacked neatly. Non returned keys will attract a $10 Fee.

  • If you require assistance with transporting your pot please ask one of our friendly staff.

  • Noise while gathering around fire pots is to be kept to an absolute minimum after 10pm, in alignment with our noise policy. Failure to do so will mean removal of your fire pot for the remainder of your stay.
