YOGA

Included in your retreat ticket price are 4 x yoga practices

We believe everybody can do yoga. Classes are suitable for beginners and intermediate levels of experience. You will be given options throughout the classes, that you can choose to take, depending on your level of experience or simply how you are feeling on the day.

 All yoga props are provided, however, if you would prefer to bring your own you are certainly welcome to. We do recommend bringing your own cosy blanket for savasana.

Meet your instructor - Jennifer Birkhead

Jen has 16 years experience in group fitness instruction, a love of nature and a passion to live life fully. Jen is a certified yoga instructor that teaches with an eclectic style. She seeks to assist people in finding a yoga practice that suits their body through acceptance and gratitude, moment to moment, breath to breath.

Meet your instructor - Gwen Wenli

Gwen is a registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT 500) with Yoga Alliance Australia®; for over a decade has dedicated her life to Yoga for Health and Wellness. She provides a space where people are able to access deep into their inner resource of wise love, peace and strength. Gwen has built up a wonderful collection of gongs, bowls and other instruments of sound, that she uses to create a beautiful symphony during her sound meditations.

SOUND MEDITATION

Included in your retreat ticket price, you will be treated to sound mediation. A sound meditation is a form of sound therapy where gongs, singing bowls and other instruments are played in a therapeutic way. It produces a resonance and subtle rhythm throughout the body. It's complex harmonics create an acoustic ocean of sound waves and energy flow, which can be experienced as a form of meditation and relaxation.

All you have to do is to lie comfortably, close your eyes and relax.

There is varied accommodation that you can choose from at Fonty's Pool for the duration of the retreat. Cost for accommodation is additional to your retreat ticket. Prices below are for two nights. Most accommodation is suitable for groups so you can share with friends and share the cost.
